Bank - Porter AUH

The role of a Porter is instrumental to the smooth running of the Hospital; you will move patients, deliver patient meals and manage the safe movement of other medical equipment. Porters should have the ability to work quickly and calmly in emergencies, have good interpersonal skills with the ability to listen and empathise, be patient and tolerant, have good physical fitness and the ability to follow instructions and work to tight time constraints.

• Supporting service improvements and encouraging the delivery of high productivity, supported by excellent customer care.
• Working on your own initiative and under direction, whilst maintaining confidentiality and discretion at all times.
• Prioritising own workload and multi-tasking, and maintaining excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Providing a customer focused Porter service.
