Job DescriptionJob Role: Cleaning Operative
Working Hours: 20 hours per week – fully flexible, various shifts/hours (including mornings, afternoons, weekends, and public holidays)
Pay: £13.00 per hour
Location: St Johns Shopping Centre, St George's Place, Liverpool, L1 1LY
Reporting to: Soft Services Manager
Overview: An exciting opportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services for an experienced cleaner to join our established team based at St Johns Shopping Centre in Liverpool.
Previous cleaning experience within a shopping centre or retail environment is desirable but not necessary. Candidates must demonstrate good attention to detail, strong communication skills, and flexibility to cover additional shifts as required. Reliable transport is required as early morning shifts may start as early as 6am.
Duties- Patrol the centre and remove litter.
- Empty bins, ensuring recycled waste is disposed of correctly.
- Prevent site accidents by clearing spills promptly to ensure safety of staff and public.
- Provide flexibility to cover additional duties.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Act as first line support to customers and visitors on site, providing professional and friendly service.
- Service road duties as and when required.
- Respond to customer queries and requests appropriately.
- Maintain professional conduct at all times.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexible to meet job requirements.
- Reliable and punctual.
- High level of enthusiasm and passion.
- Ability to work in a fast‑moving environment.
