Assistant Finance Business Partner Salary: £45,000  10% Bonus

Location:

Remote (North West-based preferred) Are you a part-qualified CIMA or ACCA studier looking to step into a commercially focused finance role? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing financial services business as a Finance Business Partner, working remotely while collaborating with a Liverpool-based finance team that values partnership, progression, and performance.

The Role:

You'll act as a key link between finance and the wider business - providing insightful analysis, supporting commercial decision-making, and helping to shape strategic direction. You'll have full ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting, while gaining invaluable exposure to senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Partner with non-finance stakeholders to provide clear, actionable financial insight. Support the budgeting and forecasting cycles with accurate analysis and commentary. Track performance against key metrics, identifying risks and opportunities. Prepare business cases and financial models to support decision-making. Drive process improvements across reporting and planning. Collaborate closely with the Finance Director and senior FBP's to align on strategy and performance.

About You:

Part-qualified accountant (CIMA or ACCA) actively studying towards qualification. Experience in a management accounting, FP&A, or commercial finance environment. Strong analytical skills and Excel proficiency. Confident communicator who can build relationships across the business. Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely, with occasional visits to Liverpool for team collaboration. Ideally based in the North West, to make occasional in-person meetings easier. What's on
