Fractional Finance Manager

The Part-Time Freelance Finance Manager will take ownership of the day-to-day financial running of the business, ensuring our accounts are accurate, cash flow is healthy, and financial insight informs decision-making. You’ll work closely with the founders, leadership team, and external accountant to support sustainable growth.

• Maintain and oversee financial records using accounting and inventory management software (Xero and CIN7).
• Prepare monthly management accounts and sales dashboards.
• Support budgeting and financial planning processes.
• Liaise with external accountant for reconciliation of bank accounts, payment gateways, and marketplace payouts, year-end accounts, VAT returns, and compliance.
• Implement and refine financial processes, controls, and reporting systems.
• Provide insight to support pricing, product costing, and margin optimisation.
• Review spend, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support commercial decision-making.

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW) or equivalent experience.
• Experience in finance management within an SME, ecommerce, manufacturing, or FMCG environment preferred.
• Proficient with cloud-based accounting and inventory management tools (Xero or similar).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
• Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to communicate financial information clearly.
