Brewer Morris is delighted to be partnering with a leading listed global financial services firm to appoint a Financial Controller into their London finance team. This newly created position offers a unique opportunity to shape the financial control landscape of a global business. While ensuring the integrity of financial information across multiple entities and jurisdictions remains central, the role goes far beyond reporting—playing a key part in driving process improvements, integrating acquisitions, and enhancing the overall control environment.

• Prepare annual financial statements under multiple accounting standards (IFRS, US GAAP, Singapore GAAP, etc.)
• Deliver monthly analytical reviews of entity income statements and balance sheets
• Manage month-end close processes and ensure timely Group reporting
• Produce monthly management reports and transfer pricing calculations
• Review and challenge balance sheet reconciliations
• Liaise with external auditors and manage ad‑hoc queries
• Lead initiatives to improve processes and support integration of new acquisitions

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent) with 1-3 years PQE
• Big 4 audit background preferred but not essential
• Strong technical accounting skills and attention to detail
• Experience preparing audited financial statements under UK GAAP or IFRS
• Group management accounting experience (transfer pricing, intercompany reconciliations)
