The Finance Manager reports into the MD and will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring strong financial control, accurate reporting, and compliance with UK statutory requirements. The role will support strategic decision-making by providing timely, insightful financial analysis and advising senior management on financial performance and risks.
Client Details
Description- Overall financial responsibility for our UK operations.
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, variance reporting and uploading to group
- Production of timely and accurate financial reports for senior management and stakeholders
- Providing financial insight and recommendations to support business
- Overseeing statutory accounts preparation in line with UK GAAP
- Ensuring compliance with HMRC requirements including VAT, PAYE, Corporation Tax, and statutory filings.
- Acting as a key point of contact for external auditors, accountants, and tax advisors
- Overseeing of Company Secretary duties, supported by company solicitors.
- Managing cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships
- Developing and maintain robust financial controls and processes
- Ensuring compliance with internal policies and financial governance standards
- Leading annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes
- Supporting long-term financial planning and cash flow forecasting
- Qualified accountant
- Proven expertise in financial management within an industrial/manufacturing environment.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly organized, hands‑on, and results focused.
- A track record of initiating, driving, developing, and implementing financial strategies and plans
- Ability to coach develop and manage a small finance team
- Technically strong be fully conversant with UK accounting standards and financial reporting regulations
- Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
- £350 to £400.per day PAYE
- 6 month role
- Possible temporary to permanent
