Mixed Tax Senior

Clark Wood is working with a fast-growing and highly regarded independent accountancy practice in Liverpool who are looking to recruit a Mixed Tax Senior to join their expanding tax team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional to take ownership of a varied and interesting client portfolio, working closely with both private and corporate clients within a supportive and forward-thinking firm.

The successful candidate will manage a diverse portfolio including high-net-worth individuals, owner‑managed businesses, landlords, trusts, and corporate clients, delivering both compliance and advisory services.

• Managing a mixed portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients
• Overseeing clients’ tax compliance affairs and acting as the main day‑to‑day contact
• Advising on a range of tax matters, including ad hoc advisory projects
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships as a trusted adviser
• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the tax team
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider firm
• This role is available on a full‑time or part‑time basis

• Strong experience across both personal and corporate tax
• Exposure to compliance and advisory work
• CTA qualified preferred; ATT qualified or qualified by experience also considered
• Confident managing client relationships and workloads independently
• A collaborative approach and willingness to support junior staff
