We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Sefton to assist with the appointment of a Client Support Officer, on a 9‑month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
An opportunity has arisen to join the Self Directed Support Team within Adult Social Care. This role supports clients, carers, and families who receive care through Direct Payments and/or Individual Service Funds.
You will play a key role in financial administration, including reconciling client accounts, calculating balances, identifying variances, and processing care payments.
Responsibilities- Reconcile client accounts and produce audit reports
- Calculate balances and identify reclaims/variances
- Process and pay care provider invoices
- Provide support to clients, carers, and families
- Build effective relationships with internal and external partners
- Experience working in a finance setting
- Strong numeracy and attention to detail
- Experience using Microsoft Office and ability to learn new IT systems
- Ability to manage and prioritise workload independently
- Experience delivering customer‑focused services
- Confidence communicating with vulnerable adults
- Right to work in the U.K.
