Liverpool City Centre | Hybrid Working (3 Days Office / 2 Days Home)

Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm (35 hours per week)
Due to continued business growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Paraplanner to join a growing and client-focused Financial Planning practice based in Liverpool City Centre.
We're looking for someone who enjoys the technical side of financial planning and can play a key role in supporting advisers and clients. This position will suit an individual who is equally comfortable carrying out detailed research and report writing, whilst also being willing to assist with day-to-day administrative tasks to support the wider team.
The Role
Key responsibilities will include:
Conducting technical research across pensions, investments and financial planning solutions
Assisting with the preparation of suitability reports and recommendation documents
Analysing client information and supporting advisers with case preparation
Preparing client meeting packs and documentation
Managing post-meeting actions and follow-up activities
Liaising with providers and third parties
Providing administrative support where required to ensure a seamless client experience
Working collaboratively with advisers and support staff across the business
About You
We are open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds and experience levels. The ideal candidate will possess:
Previous experience within Financial Services, ideally in a Paraplanning, Technical Support or Financial Planning support role
Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments and financial planning
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
A proactive and positive approach to work
Strong organisational and communication abilities
A willingness to support both technical and administrative aspects of the role
A team-oriented mindset and strong work ethicQualifications
Professional qualifications are not essential.
Applications are welcomed from candidates who are not currently qualified but have developed strong technical knowledge through practical industry experience. Personality, attitude, teamwork and technical capability are considered just as important as formal qualifications.
