Deliver clear, accurate, and timely management information across the Group’s income streams, including actual, budget, and forecast reporting. Support the production of RIM and PLC entity management accounts and contribute to statutory and regulatory reporting, ensuring high standards of accuracy, insight, and compliance.
What you’ll be responsible for- Support the team’s Finance Manager in their duties; to enable Finance to meet its deliverables and objectives.
- Be a key person in the production, review and distribution of entity management accounts for RIM & PLC.
- Understand and be able to clearly articulate key variances relating to income at both a group and entity level (all entities).
- Undertake the accurate management of income and team allocations, ensuring strong collaboration with the remuneration team and correct treatment within remuneration schemes.
- Have heavy involvement in the production of business partnering reports and commentary.
- Participate in the preparation of forecasts/actuals/budgets relating to all group income streams.
- Contribute to maintaining an effective control environment.
- Collaborate with Finance colleagues to deliver timely and accurate Balance Sheet reconciliations and working with team members to fully own and be accountable for the PLC and RIM legal entity balance sheet.
- Identify ineffective / inefficient processes and undertake enhancements as part of continuous improvement activities.
- Have input into the group and entity statutory accounts and audit process.
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA
- 5 years + PQE
- Qualified by experience
- Able to communicate information, ideas, or issues effectively and clearly through the most appropriate channel within the team and to key stakeholders.
- Able to organise and prioritise own workload effectively, working to a high degree of autonomy.
- Confident challenging processes and escalating issues.
- Effective problem solver, generating practical solutions to often complex issues.
- An eye for detail, able to identify, investigate and clearly explain variance.
- Self‑motivated with high energy and enthusiasm.
- Builds effective relationships with stakeholders across the firm.
- Strong collaboration skills - proactively seeks to share information and ideas.
- Comfortable working across the MS Office suite of applications.
- Keeps up to date with developments in the industry, including emerging risks and regulation.
- Able to consolidate and present information and analysis in an effective, digestible, and timely manner.
