Senior Finance Business Partner

Marc Daniels is working with a well-established business in London to recruit a Senior Finance Business Partner to join its finance team. This is a highly visible role, working closely with senior stakeholders to provide commercial insight, challenge assumptions, and support decision-making across the business. The ideal candidate will have 3-7 years' experience in a similar finance business partnering or commercial finance role, with strong analytical ability, confidence in presenting to stakeholders, and a proactive commercial mindset.

An FMCG background is strongly preferred, as experience in a fast-paced, consumer-driven environment will be highly valued. Responsibilities Partner with key stakeholders to support commercial and strategic decisions. Produce insightful analysis, reporting, and commentary to drive performance. Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning. Review financial performance, identify trends, and highlight risks and opportunities. Challenge and influence non-finance teams using clear financial insight.

Work closely with the wider finance team to improve processes and reporting. What you need 3-7 years' experience in a similar role. Strong finance business partnering or commercial finance experience. FMCG background strongly preferred. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong Excel and analytical skills. A commercial mindset with the ability to influence at all levels. CIMA, ACCA, or ACA qualified, or studying toward qualification, depending on the client brief.
