Rathbones offers Stocks & Shares ISAs and Junior ISAs. Rathbones Stocks & Shares ISAs are "flexible" meaning that cash can be withdrawn without being lost from the ISA wrapper provided it is repaid within the same tax year. JISAs are available up to the age of 18 and can be closed with all investments converted into a 'full' ISA upon completion of an ISA Client Agreement.

This team is responsible for offering technical guidance to all parties within Rathbones concerning HMRC ISA rules, ensuring that Rathbones do not breach any regulations which could result in penalties being levied.

The team is also responsible for the submission of all HMRC reports: a monthly tax reclaim (ISA 10) and annual summaries of our subscriptions and investments (ISA 14a, ISA
40 and Return of Information).

Rathbones also offer "APS" (Additional Permitted Subscriptions) whereby a surviving spouse/civil partner can add the value of a deceased spouse/civil partner's ISA to their own. In all instances where the ISA holders dies, the account now becomes a "Continuing ISA Account of a Deceased Investor" (CISA). The CISA will remain in place until a) an APS takes place b) instruction is received to close the CISA (i.e. when there is no surviving spouse) c) 3 years elapses from the date of death.

• Provide a professional and reliable service for clients, investment managers, advisers, and product providers
• Ensure you are adhering to the teams current SLAs and to all regulatory requirements
• Accountable for administrative tasks within the team in line with the team's procedures manual
• Ensure that you are actively participating in Continuous Improvement principals and the 4+1 habits. These include dynamic Visual management boards, appropriate team meeting involvement, continuous improvement through identification and resolution of issues, and standard operating procedures
• Support the continuous improvement across the team leading to enhancements in efficiency and clients and customer experience (CX/UX)
• Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of new and existing IT systems
• Ensure that you are operating within the Group data governance framework and that data quality and integrity is maintained
• Follow the conduct rules and act with integrity
• Be aware of CASS related processes relevant to your team and that you escalated any issues to your manager
• Build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders, both internal and external
• Any other duties as required
