Senior Finance Business Partner Liverpool £75,000-£80,000 Hybrid working If you're a qualified, experienced Senior Finance Business Partner who excels at influencing C-suite leaders and turning complex operational performance into clear commercial insight, this role offers the scale, challenge and strategic impact you're looking for. This is a high-visibility position supporting a large, multi-contract national division delivering people-focused programmes across the UK.

You'll partner directly with senior operational leaders, shaping financial performance, driving efficiency, and guiding strategic decision-making at executive level. The Opportunity As Senior Finance Business Partner, you'll take ownership of divisional financial performance, providing sharp analysis, forward-looking insight and commercially grounded recommendations. You'll be the bridge between finance and operations - challenging, influencing and ensuring leadership has the clarity needed to make the right decisions.

Key areas of focus include:
Understanding financial performance across multiple regional contracts Diagnosing profitability decline despite revenue growth Analysing volume trends, outcome performance and delivery efficiency Reviewing contract mix and identifying margin pressures Assessing staffing models, productivity and operational effectiveness Highlighting risks around underperformance, delivery capacity and sustainability Presenting clear, actionable recommendations to C-suite stakeholders What You'll Be Working With Revenue growth driven by higher participant volumes Declining job-outcome success rates Expansion into lower-margin contracts Increased delivery staff costs and reduced caseload efficiency Higher turnover and reliance on temporary staff Rising overheads from central support, digital investment and bid activity You'll translate these dynamics into a compelling narrative for senior leadership - identifying what's working, what isn't, and what must change.

What You'll Bring This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, operationally complex environment and is confident influencing at executive level. You'll need: CIMA / ACCA / ACA Qualification Strong experience as a Senior Finance Business Partner Proven ability to work with C-suite stakeholders and challenge constructively Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, commercial analysis and performance reporting Ability to interpret operational data and convert it into strategic insight Strong communication skills - able to simplify complexity and drive action A proactive, commercially minded approach with a focus on outcomes You'll be stepping into a role with genuine strategic influence, where your insight will directly shape divisional performance and future direction.
