Job Description & How to Apply Below

A high-growth, private equity-backed healthcare business is seeking a Project Accountant to support a period of transformation and operational development across its finance function.

This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on improving processes, harmonising systems and delivering clearer, more efficient reporting. Working closely with finance and operational stakeholders, you will help drive automation initiatives and support the continued development of tools including Anaplan and Power BI.

Key responsibilities
  • Support finance transformation projects, including process automation and standardisation across the business.
  • Help harmonise finance systems, reporting processes and data structures across multiple entities/sites.
  • Develop and improve planning, forecasting and reporting capabilities using Anaplan and Power BI.
  • Review existing finance processes, identify inefficiencies and implement practical improvements and controls.
  • Partner with operational and finance stakeholders to improve data quality, reporting accuracy and consistency.
  • Support month-end reporting and project accounting activities where required.
  • Assist with system implementations, upgrades, testing and user adoption.
  • Produce clear analysis and reporting to support senior finance leadership and business decision-making.
About you
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent, with strong experience in a finance transformation, project accounting or systems-focused role.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment; PE-backed or multi-site experience would be advantageous.
  • Experience using or supporting Anaplan and Power BI is highly desirable.
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into useful insight.
  • Confident communicator, able to work effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Proactive and improvement-focused, with a practical approach to delivering change.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in a growing healthcare business, gaining broad exposure to systems, transformation and commercial finance initiatives.
