Hours of work:
Full-time - 35 hours per week

Tenure:
Fixed term until April 2028

Hybrid Working:
Minimum requirement of 40% on Campus, with 60% considered desirable where possible

The role forms part of the University's Finance Systems Transformation Programme (FSTP), providing vital support that enables Finance subject matter experts to focus on key transformation activities such as system design, testing, data migration, and business readiness. While supporting the delivery of day-to-day finance operations, successful candidates will gain valuable exposure to a wide range of central finance processes and play an important role in a major institutional transformation programme.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Finance Operations team as a Processing Team Leader on an 18-month fixed-term contract supporting the Finance Systems Transformation Programme (FSTP). The role will lead the University's transaction processing activities, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking transactions and financial data, while maintaining high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.

You will coordinate activities processed by a team, drive continuous improvement and play a key role in supporting the University's transition to a new finance system.

We're looking for someone with:
  • Experience in a financial accounting or transaction processing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience of leading or supervising teams.
  • Advanced Excel and financial systems knowledge.
