Private Sector Housing is a part of the Neighbourhoods & Housing business unit, working to ensure that private sector housing and land development meet the required standards and compliance.
Responsibilities- This is an important support role within our Private Sector Housing service, helping to progress enforcement and legal casework across a range of housing functions.
- As the PSH Case Support Officer you will work closely with enforcement officers and City Law & Governance to support cases involving housing standards, licensing and wider regulatory activity. From helping organise evidence and preparing case documentation to supporting court and tribunal processes, you’ll play a key role in making sure cases are well‑prepared and run smoothly, contributing to outcomes that improve housing standards across the city.
- We’re looking for someone with experience in a legal, regulatory or enforcement setting who is comfortable working with structured processes and detailed information.
- The PSH Case Support Officer will be organised, accurate and able to manage casework effectively, with good communication skills and a practical approach to supporting others.
- The role requires an understanding of legislation or formal processes, along with the ability to work as part of a team and across services.
