Senior Planner - Development Management

Remote / Hybrid (minimum 1 day per month in office)

£45-50 p/h (Depending on experience)

Take ownership of a varied and engaging planning caseload, working on minor and major applications. Contribute to shaping local growth, prepare committee reports, undertake site visits, and collaborate with stakeholders across a dynamic planning environment.

• Manage a varied planning application caseload
• Prepare reports for delegated decisions and committees
• Support strategic and rural planning initiatives
• Undertake site visits and engage with stakeholders
• Assist with service improvements and mentor junior staff

• Experience in Development Management across a mixed caseload
• Knowledge of planning legislation, policy, and rural issues
• Confidence preparing reports and presenting to committees
• Ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders

Flexible remote/hybrid working, with minimum 1 day per month in office.
