Senior Clinical Pharmacist - Rotational

The post-holder will rotate through a range of specialty areas across Aintree Hospital and the Walton Centre for Neurology and Neurosurgery.

Supported by a team of Advanced Clinical Pharmacists to gain advanced clinical skills post‑diploma.

Applicants must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and hold a postgraduate clinical diploma or equivalent experiential learning. They should be self‑motivated, organised, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Rotate through therapeutic areas including acute and emergency admissions, cardiology, orthopaedics, and critical care.
• Participate in rotations at the Walton Centre for Neurology and Neurosurgery.
• Engage in rotations covering medicines safety, medicines information and clinical trials.
• Deliver excellent clinical care using the fully integrated electronic prescribing system and in‑house systems.

• Registered pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
• Post‑graduate clinical diploma or equivalent experiential learning.
• Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
