Overview
Rotational MSK B6 clinicians are required for our fast‑paced, dynamic city‑centre acute teaching hospitals. Demonstrable MSK experience and clinical knowledge is essential. Rotations are based at our three main hospital sites and off‑site locations and are predominantly in outpatients. Full‑time and part‑time applicants are considered.

Rotations- Upper limb
- Lower limb
- Spine
- General MSK outpatients
- Inpatient elective orthopaedics
- Limb reconstruction service (inpatient and outpatient)
- Hydrotherapy
- Provide physiotherapy assessment, clinical diagnosis and implement agreed treatment plans for routine and complex patients.
- Supervise physiotherapists, students and assistants on a daily basis.
- Organise and plan own caseload to meet service and patient priorities.
- Ensure effective communication with patients, carer and all other health & social care professionals regarding all aspects of patient care.
- Contribute to the operational management of the team under the supervision of a Team Leader Physiotherapist, including deputising for them in their absence.
- Participate in the respiratory on‑call service, subject to recent experience.
- Demonstrable communication, time‑management and interpersonal skills.
- Motivated and able to work efficiently both alone and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to meet changing service needs, including delivering a 7‑day service where required.
- Ability to work in a range of locations across the city and in a range of services on a rotational basis.
- Rotations are led by staff choice in conjunction with learning needs whilst maintaining a safe and effective service.
Applicants should demonstrate good communication, time‑management and interpersonal skills. They must be motivated and able to work efficiently both alone and as part of a team. Flexibility is essential to meet changing needs of the service, including delivering a 7‑day service where required.
