Are you ready for a new challenge? Do you have a NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care? The Emergency Department is looking for Band 2 HCA to join the Emergency Department Team. You will be responsible for supporting nursing staff within ED and carrying out specific tasks as allocated by the Registered Nurse in charge of the area.

You will need to be dynamic and enthusiastic in your role, as the ED is fast‑paced and faced with new challenges every day. You must be able to work within the trust values.

We require caring, professional people who are keen to learn and provide good nursing care to patients attending the ED. We are family‑friendly and flexible with shifts.

To hear about the exciting work we do, visit our Trust Facebook page by searching "Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust".

Band 2s will not be eligible for sponsorship as these roles do not meet the required skill level (RQF 3 or A level and above), despite having a salary increase.

The band 2 HCA is a key member of the Emergency Department Team. You will provide a high standard of basic nursing care to enhance the patient journey through the department.

You will work closely with nursing staff across the emergency floor and will have the opportunity to develop in your role and learn new skills and knowledge.
