Joining our team as a band 5 Midwife you will develop and consolidate your skills during an innovative 12‑15 month preceptorship with dedicated clinical and pastoral support from our Preceptorship Lead Midwives.
The pathway involves rotating across the maternity ward and delivery suite, with opportunities for spoke placements in other areas toward the end of the programme.
Our service continually evolves to meet the needs of the population, ensuring women and families have a positive birthing experience.
We are a friendly, supportive team keen to maximise every midwife’s potential and provide a range of career progression opportunities. The role requires midwives who are passionate about delivering kind, safe and personalised care, advocating for women and families throughout pregnancy and birth.
Our midwives work 7 days a week to provide 24/7 care. This vacancy is for inpatient midwives on a rotational basis. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Liverpool Women's Hospital NHS Trust seeks motivated and enthusiastic midwives to join our Maternity Services Team. We are looking for experienced band 6 Midwives for rotational posts, demonstrating excellent clinical skills in all aspects of midwifery.
