Mediplacements are looking for an experienced band 7 Wards Pharmacist to work at a hospital in Kent. The pay for this position is GBP
25–GBP
35 per hour. We are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.

The post holder will provide high quality advanced clinical pharmacy services to the Emergency department. This includes managing complex patients, supporting the 2 pharmacy technicians working in the Emergency department, and policy development for the specialist area. The post holder will participate as part of the multi‑disciplinary team in the Emergency Department to support consistent and effective medicines optimisation. This will include monthly attendance to the care group governance meeting and medication safety meeting.

The post holder will also have a commitment to the core services such as dispensary cover, extended hours service on acute medical floor, on call and contributing to a comprehensive clinical pharmacy in Acute and Emergency Medicine.

As a ward pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical care and medication management to patients admitted to hospital ED wards.

Successful candidates must hold an MPharm degree, be GPHC registered and have experience working in a hospital ward setting.
