Position: Higher Level Pharmacy Technician Dispensary

Job summary

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and self‑motivated Pharmacy Technician to join the Mersey Care Medicines Management Team. The Executive team at Mersey Care recognise the value of our services and have recently invested a significant amount of additional funding to enable the transformation and expansion of our service.

Dispensary Higher Level Pharmacy Technician roles are based within our purpose‑built pharmacy department at Maghull Health Park and supporting our in‑house Pharmacy at Hollins Park Hospital in Warrington.

As a department we are embracing the Trusts ambition to digitally transform our services and have introduced new initiatives which include ward‑based automation, EPMA and within our new department three automated robotic dispensing systems including a blister packing robot.

We have 1 permanent and 1 fixed‑term post available.

Main duties of the job

The post-holder will be obliged to participate in our seven‑day medicines supply service in line with the hours of operation.
