Improving care for Women after Preterm Birth

Title:
Debrief and pre‑conceptual care services for women who have experienced preterm birth: development of an evidence‑informed roadmap to improve health outcomes for women and their future pregnancies.
Women who experience spontaneous preterm birth (sPTB) before 34 weeks face more than double the risk of recurrence in subsequent pregnancies, alongside increased long‑term health risks. Despite national recommendations since 2019 for postnatal debriefing and future care planning, no consistent NHS pathway exists. This project responds directly to calls from women, clinicians, the RCOG and national charities to address this unmet need and reduce widening health inequalities.
Liverpool Women’s delivers the highest standards of care for women, babies and their families. It is an exciting environment to work in and a great place to develop your career.
We value the contribution of individual talent and are committed to having a workforce that is representative of the local community. We will consider requests for flexible working on hiring.
