Young Person’s Advisory Service (YPAS) is a Merseyside based charity that was established in 1966. They serve a population of over 150,000 children and young people. They support children and young people aged 5 – 25 years and families to address their mental health and emotional well-being difficulties.
Job OverviewAre you passionate about supporting the mental health of children and young people? YPAS is offering an exciting opportunity to train as a Trainee Interpersonal Psychotherapy Practitioner for Adolescents (IPT-A) while working directly with young people experiencing emotional and mental health difficulties.
This is a 12-month paid training post that includes fully funded training leading to a postgraduate qualification in IPT-A. You will receive expert clinical supervision and clinical experience as part of a multidisciplinary team committed to improving outcomes for children and young people.
Interviews: Thursday 27 August 2026 & Tuesday 1 September 2026.
