REGISTERED GENERAL NURSE

NIGHT SHIFTS, FULL-TIME, 36-48 HOURS PER WEEK

Registered nurse for our Nursing Home- with 82 beds, situated in Woodchurch, just outside of Birkenhead, the caring and committed team support older people to lead their best lives with personalised nursing dementia care.

We are currently looking to recruit Registered Nurses with a passion for providing exceptional, kind, personilized care that promotes choice, dignity and respect.

We have full time, day and night shifts available

Night shifts, 12-hour shift, 8pm-8am

Pay rate is £19.5- £20.5 per hour

ABOUT YOU:

  • An RGN or RMN, with experience in a care home setting caring for older people.
  • You will have a kind and caring approach with a passion for delivering the highest possible standard of care and support for the residents.
  • You will have excellent communication skills
  • You will work well within the team, leading, supporting and training junior staff members,
  • You will have previous experience in motivating the team.
  • You must have a UK Registered Nurse Qualification (RGN)
  • Active UK NMC PIN
  • Clear DBS And 2 satisfactory references

Here's some of your tasks:

  • You will dispense and administer medication to residents as prescribed, accurately maintaining appropriate records
  • You will carry out stock control and ordering of resident's prescribed medication and medical products
  • You'll need to understand and comply with all statutory and legal requirements that are relevant such as Health and Safety, COSHH, and all aspects of the care Standards Act.
