At Roche you can show up as yourself, embraced for the unique qualities you bring. Our culture encourages personal expression, open dialogue, and genuine connections, where you are valued, accepted and respected for who you are, allowing you to thrive both personally and professionally. This is how we aim to prevent, stop and cure diseases and ensure everyone has access to healthcare today and for generations to come.
Join Roche, where every voice matters.### ### The Position Obesity is one of the UK's greatest and fastest-growing health challenges — a driver of cardiovascular, renal and metabolic disease that touches millions of lives. As a Medical Affairs Partner in our Cardiovascular, Renal & Metabolism (CVRM) team, you will help shape how Roche brings the next generation of obesity and weight-management science to the healthcare professionals and patients who need it.
This is a rare opportunity to build our medical presence from the ground up, in the critical pre-launch window where the groundwork you lay determines the difference we make.
** Why this role matters:
** Working one to two years ahead of launch, you will map the UK obesity landscape and build the scientific relationships that ensure the right patients can benefit the moment new options become available. Every conversation with a clinician, every insight you surface, and every piece of evidence you translate helps Roche deliver better outcomes to more patients, faster — and helps healthcare providers prepare to change lives won't just support a launch;
you will help lay the foundations of how Roche shows up in obesity care in the UK..

* ** You bring*

* ** You work*
* ** with genuine autonomy** — creating and adapting high-quality, compliant medical and scientific materials largely independently.
* ** You map*
* ** the external scientific landscape
** and generate insights that shape medical and squad priorities.
* ** You safeguard*
* ** the highest standards
** of compliance, ethics and patient safety, putting patients at the centre of every action.
* You collaborate across teams to remove silos and duplication, and increasingly coach and support colleagues as our team grows.
** Who you are:
*** You hold a life-sciences, pharmacy or medical qualification and bring strong scientific credibility.
* You have proven experience in a field-based medical role — as a Medical Science Liaison, Medical Advisor or similar.
* You bring demonstrable experience in obesity / weight management or an adjacent cardiometabolic therapy area.
* You are a confident, self-sufficient operator who structures your own priorities and delivers with minimal support.
* You have a sound working knowledge of the ABPI Code of Practice and act as a guardian of compliance and ethics.
** Preferred:
*** Experience mentoring or coaching colleagues, or early demonstration of leadership behaviours.
* Experience working in agile, squad-based or self-managed team environments.
