Position Overview

Primary Care 24 (PC24) is seeking Receptionists to join our bank workforce at Royal Liverpool University Hospital. Receptionists serve as the first point of contact for patients attending PC24 services for appointments.

Salary

£13.04 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and visitors attending appointments to the service, representing Primary Care 24 within the hospital.
  • Input confidential patient data and book appointments, using clinical systems.
  • Ensure patient confidentiality is met at all times.
  • Ensure patients are managed in line with required time frames, keeping patients updated.
  • Ensure the site is prepared and presentable for service delivery at all times.
  • Confident with Policies and Procedures related to the role.
  • Ensure all relevant information is communicated to incoming staff through a robust handover.
  • Undertake administration tasks as requested.
  • Maintain Infection Prevention Control standards.
  • Maintain professional relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Report to the relevant operational team any clinical or operational issues.
Qualifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organised and adaptable approach to the service delivery.
  • Good IT skills including all Microsoft package.
  • Experience of Adastra would be beneficial.
  • Experience of co-working and liaising with clinicians.
  • Experience of following and working to policies and procedures either in a healthcare setting, or be able to adapt to a healthcare setting.
