An exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered Nurse Associate to join Litherland Urgent Treatment Centre.

Mersey Care currently have 8 Urgent Treatment Centres (UTC) and Walk In Centres (WICs) working across Liverpool, Knowsley and Sefton. The vacancy will be primarily based at Litherland UTC, however staff are expected to be flexible and able to work across all 8 sites.

UTCs and WICs offer access to treatment and advice for minor illnesses and injuries .

Nursing Associates are able to practice in the widest range of settings as well as being equipped with the specific knowledge, skills and capabilities required for the context in which they have trained and are employed. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to have the chance to develop excellent clinical skills with autonomous and highly skilled professionals.

We are currently open 365 days a year from 8am-8pm daily.

Essential criteria must be met for shortlisting.

Knowledge, training and experience

  • Maintain knowledge of the scope of practice of the Nursing Associate role within different care settings
  • Deliver high quality, person-centred care under the direction of a Registered Nurse or other registered care professional, dependent on setting
  • Holistically support people to improve and maintain their mental, physical, behavioural health and wellbeing, promoting health and preventing ill health.
  • Maintain own continuing professional development in accordance with NMC CPD requirements and revalidation, contributing to the formulation of own objectives and personal development plan.
  • Contribute towards developing a culture of learning and innovation, developing high quality learning environments
