Are you looking for a rewarding and engaging role in complex clinical care?
We’re offering an exciting opportunity to join our new client with complex needs in West Derby, Liverpool.
Shift type:
Day shifts, sleeping nights & waking nights available Pay:
Days - £15.55 per hour weekdays, £16.33 per hour weekends. Nights - £16.33 per hour weekday waking nights, £17.11 per hour weekend waking nights
Hours:
Days
- Saturday and Sundays, 8am-8pm Nights - 7 nights per week, 8pm-8am, both waking and sleeping available.
You’ll be supporting a 7-year-old girl who has complex needs including brain injury, cerebral palsy, dystonia, epilepsy, visual impairment, PEG, suctioning and oxygen.
We're looking for someone with previous experience in complex care with children and the ability to build a strong, supportive relationship through clear communication and empathy.
Our client lives at home with her family and enjoys sensory activity, lights and music.
Your role will be to support her physically and emotionally, helping her live life to the fullest.
What We’re Looking For- Paediatric experience, ideally with brain injuries.
- Complex clinical experience including PEG and suctioning desirable, however training can be provided.
- A genuine passion for care and making a difference
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature
- Reliable, committed, and flexible approach
- Experience in complex care and managing challenging behaviours
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team You’ll need to be confident working independently and collaboratively, with the ability to build a trusting relationship with the client and her family.
- Monitoring condition overnight
- Support with daily/nightly routines
- Administer medication
- Assist with personal hygiene and mobility
- Administer medication and monitor health
- Provide emotional support and companionship
- Maintain accurate care records
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members
