Are you a prison-cleared HCA looking for flexible work in the Liverpool area?
Belmont Recruitment are currently seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants with valid prison clearance (CTC or Enhanced Vetting) to join the healthcare team at a local prison in Liverpool.

This is a great opportunity to work within a secure setting as part of a multidisciplinary team, supporting patients with a variety of physical and mental health needs.

Main Responsibilities:

* Supporting registered nurses and healthcare professionals with clinical duties

* Providing care and assistance to prisoners with a range of health conditions

* Monitoring and recording vital signs, escalating concerns where appropriate

* Assisting with medication (if trained) and general health checks

* Helping maintain a safe, secure, and professional healthcare environment

Essential Requirements:

* Valid prison clearance (CTC, HMP Enhanced Vetting or equivalent) – essential

* A minimum of 6 months’ experience working as a Healthcare Assistant in the UK

* Comfortable working within a secure, fast-paced environment

* Up-to-date mandatory training certificates

* PMVA or MAPA training is advantageous (can be arranged if needed)
