Occupational Therapist - Join Our School-Based Team We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our specialist school in Liverpool on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people by supporting their development, independence, and access to education.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will assess, plan, and deliver therapeutic interventions tailored to the needs of pupils with a range of additional learning needs, including autism, ADHD, sensory processing difficulties, and other complex needs.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and identify pupils' occupational therapy needs.
- Develop and implement individualised therapy programmes.
- Provide direct and indirect therapy interventions.
- Support pupils in achieving greater independence and participation within the school environment.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff, parents/carers, and external professionals.
- Deliver training and guidance to school staff to support therapeutic outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records and reports in line with professional standards.
- Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- HCPC registration.
- Experience working with children and young people is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organisational and report-writing skills.
- Salary up to 45,000 per annum.
