We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Healthcare Assistant to support consultants and clinical teams delivering vasectomy procedures within a specialist outpatient setting.

This is an excellent opportunity for HCAs with experience in surgical, theatre, outpatient, urology, sexual health, or minor procedures environments who are looking for flexible clinical work and professional development opportunities.

The Role

As a Vasectomy Surgical Assistant, you will work alongside clinicians to ensure the safe and effective delivery of vasectomy services. You will support patients throughout their treatment journey while maintaining the highest standards of patient care, infection control, and clinical governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clinicians during local anaesthetic vasectomy procedures.
• Prepare clinical rooms, surgical instruments, and equipment before clinics.
• Maintain aseptic technique and adhere to infection prevention and control standards.
• Provide reassurance and support to patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Assist with patient identification, consent checks, and clinical documentation.
