at The Halyard at Ropewalks. The successful applicant for this role will have a positive and confident ‘can do' attitude and be willing to learn. This exciting role provides an excellent opportunity to join the team and be part of an iconic-branded hotel in a busy competitive marketplace.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables and portioning ingredients
• Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a safe and organized workspace
• Handle deliveries, unpacking and storing goods in designated areas
• Support the kitchen team with ad-hoc tasks as required to ensure smooth operation during busy periods

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment is beneficial but not essential; we welcome applicants with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
• Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings
