HR Advisor Liverpool Permanent Salary: c £35,000
Are you an experienced HR Advisor who enjoys employee relations and thrives in a fast-paced, supportive environment?
We're working with a fantastic organisation in Liverpool to recruit a permanent HR Advisor to join their established HR team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys partnering with managers, handling a varied employee relations caseload and providing practical, commercially focused HR advice.
Joining a friendly and collaborative team, you'll play a key role in delivering a high-quality HR advisory service while supporting managers across a broad range of people matters.
The RoleAs HR Advisor, you'll provide day-to-day HR support with a particular focus on employee relations. Working closely with managers across the business, you'll help them navigate a variety of people issues while ensuring a consistent and compliant approach.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing advice and guidance to managers on a wide range of employee relations matters, including absence management, disciplinary, grievance, capability and suspension cases.
- Managing a varied ER caseload from start to finish, ensuring cases are handled efficiently, professionally and in line with employment legislation.
- Supporting managers through formal HR processes, preparing documentation and ensuring all case records are accurately maintained.
- Liaising with Occupational Health providers and supporting managers with recommendations and wellbeing-related cases.
- Assisting with Employment Tribunal administration, including preparing documentation where required.
- Working collaboratively with the wider HR team to deliver an excellent service and contribute to continuous improvement across HR.
We're looking for an experienced HR Advisor with a strong employee relations background who enjoys building relationships with managers and providing practical, solutions-focused advice.
You’ll ideally have:
- Previous experience in an HR Advisor or similar HR generalist role with significant employee relations exposure.
- Confidence managing a varied ER caseload independently.
- A sound understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and coach managers.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities within a busy environment.
- Experience with in a fast-paced HR function, shared service or advisory environment would be advantageous.
