Overview
We’re looking for a driven HR professional to join our People team will work directly within a small team and you’ll be involved in a wide range of HR activities, supporting a workforce of approximately 250 employees.
Salary£35,000 - £40,000 per annum
Location & HoursThis role will be hybrid, 3 days in the office and 2 days can be remote if you wish.

- First point of contact for all HR related queries across the business.
- Supporting managers, giving advice and guidance and leaning on company policy and procedure where appropriate.
- Support with the HR system Hibob, keeping data accurate and managing reporting and analytics.
- Supporting the performance management cycle including objective setting, performance reviews and managing 1:1s.
- Providing advice and guidance on managing absence, ensuring completion of return-to-work conversations, providing support and escalating where necessary.
- Supporting on drafting new policies and procedures, identifying process efficiencies and automations.
- Supporting with payroll administration by collating employee data including new starters, leavers and changes.
- Support on employee relations cases including disciplinaries, grievances, absences and performance management etc
- Supporting managers on induction of new starters, probation reviews and ensuring onboarding and induction tasks are completed.
- Manage and coordinate DSARs
- Support on HSE
- Comfortable and confident to educate managers, support or lead workshops for employees/ managers on a range of HR topics.
- Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or risks in HR processes and proactively raise and resolve them.
- Supporting family-friendly policies including maternity, paternity, flexible working, and parental leave requests
- Assisting with employee initiatives and wider People Team projects
- Proactively stay up to date with current trends in the market and share these within the team
- Collaborate and engage with the People team, sharing knowledge, experience and ideas that can be implemented to drive success.
- Comfortable taking the lead on HR processes rather than waiting for direction
- Naturally curious and inquisitive, with the confidence to ask questions and challenge things that don’t look right
- Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Strong attention to detail with a practical, common‑sense approach
- Confident communicator who can build trusted relationships at all levels
- A team player with a good sense of humour and able to work alongside others with a positive attitude
- Experience using HR systems and maximising functionality
- General understanding of employment law and HR policies and processes.
- Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- 1st stage (45 minutes) – An informal chat to discuss your experience and working history relating to the position with the team. In return, we will provide a full overview of the role, life at the studio as well as answer any questions you may have.
- Final interview (30 minutes) – This will be a chance for you to get to know the Senior Management team and all the things that make Lucid, Lucid! You will have a lot of opportunities to ask any questions about the studio and Culture.
