Human Resources Advisor

Location: Liverpool, Walker House (Hybrid Working between Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday office days)

At Bibby Line Group, our people are at the heart of our success. We're looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our People Team, supporting colleagues and leaders across Bibby Line Group and Bibby Marine.

This is a broad generalist role combining HR Partnering, HR operations, employee relations, recruitment and people initiatives. You'll work closely with managers across the business, providing practical advice and helping to deliver an exceptional colleague experience.

What You'll Be Doing

Reporting to the Head of HR Operations, with exposure to both the Group Chief People Officer and Head of HR for Bibby Marine, you'll play a key role in delivering a high-quality people service across Bibby Line Group and Bibby Marine.

• Providing HR advice and guidance to managers on a range of people matters.
• Managing employee relations cases, including performance, absence and conduct issues
• Supporting engagement, talent and development initiatives.
• Contributing to HR projects and continuous improvement activities across the Group.
• Managing employee lifecycle activities from onboarding through to offboarding.
• Assisting with payroll, reward and HR compliance processes.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in an HR Advisor, HR Officer or Generalist role.
• CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent experience
• knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience supporting employee relations activity.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience using HR systems and maintaining accurate employee data.
