Operations is the heart and soul of everything Amazon does. It is thanks to effective operations that items are processed and dispatched to our customers on time. As a 3PL Specialist (External Fulfillment Specialist) you will be required to bridge the gap between Amazon Operations and that of the 3PL fulfillment centre and act as the point of contact for all Amazon departments who may have inquiries from bin checks to transportation issues.
Key Responsibilities- Measure and monitor workflows, track onsite performance of third‑party logistics (3PL)
- Use data analysis to identify ways to optimize safety, quality and productivity
- Resolve operational problems in the flows to/from external service providers
- Resolve problems that may require working onsite as a supervisor or auditor of the operations
- Act as a point of contact through communication between Operations and related partners, such as Supply Chain, Retail and Transportation teams
You will have the opportunity to deal with daily tasks related to the 3PL's performance and will also have the chance to work on ad‑hoc projects, new implementations, and to draft ideas leading to optimization and streamlining. This will often require deep dives into the issue and understanding root cause then working out best solution for resolution be it by using Amazon systems or by contacting the 3PL and asking them to support.
Effective communication is essential and this can be at all levels within Amazon and the 3PL organization. This will at times include carrying out joint projects and investigations as well as carrying out training in Amazon processes and use of Amazon tools.

We’re based in Fulfilment Centres, which are at the heart of Amazon’s fast‑paced Operations network. Our centres are sometimes referred to as the ‘First Mile’ because it’s where most Amazon packages start their journey. We help to manage dynamic inventory and facilitate speedy deliveries round the clock.
Lots of different people work in our Fulfilment Centres, so there are plenty of opportunities for every skillset. Some of us work with physical products, while others analyze data to help everyone across the business make smart decisions.
- Advanced proficiency in local language in both written and verbal communication (C1 Common European Framework of Reference, CEFR)
- Relevant experience working with data analytics and using these metrics to identify problems
- Relevant experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment
