Tech Support Specialist with a Linux focus. The client is seeking a Software Configuration Specialist to join their growing technical support function. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring systems are correctly set up and perform reliably from the very beginning. You will be working behind the scenes to support seamless installations and help internal teams deliver consistently high service levels.

• Build on and manage system configurations that directly affect service quality and client satisfaction
• Work with product and technical colleagues to understand requirements and translate them into working setups
• Develop processes that are robust and repeatable to reduce errors and support improvements
• Keep installations smooth and efficient while supporting colleagues across various teams
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and input on how to improve processes

This role suits someone with technical curiosity and a thoughtful, process-driven mindset. You may come from a different background, but you enjoy technical environments and are confident around systems.

• Strong background using Linux operating systems (home lab setups a bonus)
• Extensive usage of SIP/VOIP and Telco systems
• Experience working with technical teams or managing configurations in digital or hardware settings
• Develop troubleshooting skills and actively improve how things are done
• Work on projects that support internal and customer-facing outcomes

• Salary £40,000 to £45,000 depending on experience
