Job Description

Quirky Digital is seeking an experienced, results-driven SEO Manager (based within commuting distance of our office in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle) to join our growing team.

This role is ideal for a well-rounded SEO professional who understands how to drive sustainable organic growth across a range of competitive industries and business models.

You will play a key role within our SEO department, working alongside other SEO Managers and under the guidance of our Head of SEO to deliver measurable, commercially impactful results for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct advanced SEO research across a variety of industries and market types
  • Independently troubleshoot SEO challenges and implement proactive solutions
  • Understand client commercial objectives and align SEO recommendations with business outcomes
  • Execute advanced keyword research, mapping, forecasting, competitor analysis and SERP intent modelling
  • Stay ahead of algorithm updates and evolving search trends, including changes in AI-driven and generative search
  • Contribute to content strategies that balance user intent, search demand and brand authority
  • Support content teams with SEO insights, tooling and investigative research
  • Communicate technical SEO topics clearly and confidently to non-technical stakeholders
  • Use analytical tools to carry out deep-dive performance analysis and track organic growth
  • Contribute ideas to improve internal workflows, delivery processes and overall team efficiency
  • Work closely with line managers and leadership to support professional development and continuous improvement
  • Deliver clear, accurate briefs and timely updates to internal teams and external clients
Key Skills & Experience
  • Strong understanding of modern SEO best practice, including E-E-A-T and trust-building principles
  • Confident use of GA4, Google Search Console, Semrush, Ahrefs, Keyword Insights Screaming Frog and related SEO tools
  • Ability to translate complex SEO concepts into clear, client-friendly recommendations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong focus on client satisfaction
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work autonomously
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to connect SEO activity to real business performance
  • Experience working with high-competition keywords and ambitious growth targets
  • A proactive, curious mindset with a desire to test, learn and improve
  • Competitive salary of £35,000 to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

  • 35 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
