IT Support Engineer

Profectus Recruitment is partnering with a well-established professional services firm to recruit a 1st / 2nd Line Engineer. This newly created role will provide IT support across multiple offices, assisting around 100+ users and supporting wider technology projects.

The role will initially be based in High Wycombe
, with regular travel to other offices. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.

• Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support for users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues
• Assist the IT service desk and elevate issues where required
• Support system implementations, onboarding, office moves, and user training
• Help develop reporting, including Power BI dashboards, and support adoption of new technologies
• Contribute to knowledge management, internal resources, and documentation
• Assist with technology improvement initiatives, cyber security awareness, and AI adoption

• Previous experience in IT support or service desk roles
• Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills
• Confident communicator able to support non‑technical users
• Proactive, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Interest in technology improvement, reporting, or automation a plus
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
