Working at the forefront of our cybersecurity and network transformation agenda, you will define and evolve JLR’s Zero Trust and network security architecture, ensuring consistent policy enforcement, regulatory compliance, and robust risk management across diverse platforms, regions, and user access models. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining strategic thinking with technical leadership. You’ll be instrumental in driving the transition from traditional perimeter‑based security approaches to modern identity‑driven, policy‑based access frameworks, helping to create a secure, connected, and future‑ready enterprise for JLR.

WHAT TO EXPECT

In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering high-quality outcomes and supporting the wider team through a range of responsibilities, including –

  • Define and lead JLR’s Zero Trust network security architecture strategy and technology roadmap, driving the evolution of secure access services across the enterprise
  • Design and implement modern Zero Trust solutions, ensuring secure, identity‑driven access based on user identity, device posture, risk, and business context
  • Establish and govern consistent security policies, standards, and architectures across on‑premise, cloud, and remote access environments
  • Partner with Cyber Security, IAM, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams to deliver integrated security solutions aligned to enterprise strategy, regulatory requirements, and risk frameworks
  • Drive the adoption of network segmentation, least‑privilege access, and continuous verification principles, supporting the transition from traditional perimeter‑based security models
  • Provide architectural governance, technical leadership, and assurance across network and security programmes, including architecture reviews, risk assessments, and threat modelling activities
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and vendors, ensuring solutions are scalable, resilient, well‑documented, and aligned to business objectives and future architectural standards
WHAT YOU’LL NEED

We’re looking for someone with the right blend of experience, qualifications, and practical skills, including –

  • Strong experience in network security architecture within large, complex enterprise environments
  • Deep understanding of Zero Trust principles and frameworks, with experience designing and implementing Zero Trust architectures
  • Hands‑on experience delivering ZTNA solutions such as Zscaler, Palo Alto Prisma Access, Netskope, or Microsoft Entra Private Access
  • Strong knowledge of identity‑driven security, authentication methods, access controls, and least‑privilege principles
  • Experience with network segmentation, SASE, SSE, and cloud security architectures across hybrid environments
  • Proven ability to define architectural standards, ensure compliance with frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR, and govern technical implementations
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and balance security, usability, and performance requirements
BENEFITS

This role is rewarding in more ways than one. On top of our core offering, you’ll do extraordinary work with amazing people. In addition, you can expect a wide range of benefits:
