Technical Business Analyst Liverpool - Hybrid (3 days a week onsite) Up to 48K
We are working with a financial services business in Liverpool who are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join their Telematics Team.
This is a great opportunity for a Technical Business Analyst who is looking to take the next step in their career, gain greater ownership of projects and work closely with technical teams in a fast paced, agile environment.
You’ll sit within an experienced BA function, working alongside a Senior Business Analyst while being given the opportunity to take ownership of your own work streams and contribute across a variety of projects.
What you'll be doing:- Work closely with stakeholders, developers and other technical teams
to understand business requirements and translate them into clear, actionable technical requirements. - Get involved from the early stages of shaping requirements through to delivery.
- Analyse existing processes, systems and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Produce clear documentation including
user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows and requirements. - Work closely with developers and testers throughout the
SDLC
. - Challenge requirements where necessary and help ensure solutions genuinely meet the underlying business need.
- Support“As-Is” requirement gathering and “To-Be” process
modelling - Manage and prioritise your own workload across multiple projects and work streams.
- Commercial experience working as a Business Analyst within a technology or software environment.
- Strong requirements gathering and analysis skills.
- Experience writing
user stories and acceptance criteria
. - An
understanding of Agile methodologies
and ways of working. - The ability to understand technical concepts and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A structured and analytical approach to problem solving.
- Financial services experience would be beneficial
, but isn't essential.
