We are seeking a Recoveries Claims Handler within our Recoveries and ULR department. Join our fast-paced Recoveries team, managing motor insurance claims from start to finish. In this role you will manage your own insurance claims caseload from start to finish, focusing on making sure our customers get the best possible experience while working to recover costs where a third party is responsible.

You'll support other claims handlers by offering guidance on recovery cases, helping them follow the correct processes and stay compliant with industry regulations.

Working hours :
Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours between 9:00am and 5:30pm

Salary : £25,877 - £27,544 plus up to £1,500 performance-related bonus

What you will be doing:
  • Manage non-fault repair and recovery claims from start to finish
  • Deliver accurate, customer-focused outcomes
  • Apply technical expertise in indemnity, liability, and claim financials
  • Minimize leakage through effective claim review and allocation
  • Negotiate subrogated outlays and manage aged debt portfolios
  • Liaise with solicitors and suppliers to support litigation and meet SLAs
