Our well established and reputable client is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Legal Cashier to join their professional team.

The successful Legal Cashier will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with legal and financial regulations. This role of Legal Cashier offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your accounting expertise within a dynamic legal environment, supporting the firm’s financial operations efficiently and effectively.

Skills

* Proven experience as a Legal Cashier or in a similar finance-related role within a Law Firm

* Knowledge of SAR and AML

* Understanding of basic accounting principles

* Must be familiar with Property Transactions and Completion Statements

* Full understanding, knowledge and experience of:

- * Client and Office Ledger transactions

* Posting Bills, Receipts, Payments Disbursements

* Processing and creating bank payments and reconciliations

The successful Legal Cashier will have:

- * Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks accurately under tight deadlines

* Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with colleagues and external partners

* Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy in data entry and record keeping

* Ability to work independently whilst being a proactive team player
