Procurement ManagerYour Role
Reporting to the Group Head of Procurement, the Procurement Manager will lead procurement operations and the Purchase-to-Pay function, ensuring efficient,compliant and value-focused procurement activity across Peel Ports Group. The role will be central to the delivery of procurement transformation, including the implementation and adoption of SAP Ariba Sourcing, while embedding best-practice sourcing, quotation, supplier management, inventoryalignmentand operational purchasing processes. Working closely with Finance, Accounts Payable, IT, Procurement, senior leadership and operational stakeholders, the role will strengthen governance, improve processconsistencyand drive continuous improvement across the procurement function.
What You'll Bring- Demonstrated experience leading procurement operations and Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) activities within a complex organisation.
- Experience implementing,optimising or championing procurement technology, ideally SAP Ariba.
- A proven people leader with a passion for developing high-performing teams and creating a positive, collaborative culture.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build credibility, influence decision-making and foster effective relationships at all levels.
- A track recordof delivering procurement transformation, process improvements and change initiatives that drive measurable business value.
- A solid understanding of procurement governance,compliance and controls, with a commitment to best practice and continuous improvement.
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities, with the ability to use data, spend insights and KPIs to support decision-making.
- Experience supporting strategic sourcing, supplier relationshipmanagementand commercial negotiations to achieve the best outcomes.
- MCIPSqualified, or actively working towards achieving your qualification.
