An established organisation within the property and construction sector is seeking an experienced Buyer to join its supply chain team

This is a fantastic opportunity for a procurement professional with experience purchasing construction materials, maintenance products and subcontract services to play a key role in managing supplier relationships, driving commercial savings and supporting business-critical projects.

Working closely with operational, commercial and maintenance teams, you will ensure materials and services are procured efficiently, competitively and in line with business requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities across construction materials, maintenance products, plant, services and subcontract packages
• Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best value, quality and service
• Lead tendering processes, quotations and supplier selection exercises
• Build strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders
• Support contract management activities and supplier performance reviews
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, supply chain efficiencies and improved service delivery
• Work with operational teams to understand project requirements and procurement needs
• Monitor market trends, supplier performance and material costs
