Job Purpose

The Purchasing and Inventory Manager is responsible for leading inventory management, purchasing and supply planning activities across the brand portfolio, and through a global network of third‑party manufacturing partners.

The purpose of the role is ensuring optimal stock levels, cost‑effective procurement, and seamless coordination with internal teams to support business goals.

This role is integral to an evolving supply chain function, ensuring the right stock is available at the right time whilst balancing working capital, supplier performance and service levels, partnering closely with Product Sourcing, Warehousing and Commercial teams to deliver an integrated supply chain plan. The Purchasing and Inventory Manager will work closely with Finance to monitor and control inventory budgets and working capital, track purchasing costs, and support overall financial accountability.

Reporting directly to the COO, this role is responsible for supporting supplier relationships, demand planning, efficient purchasing and resourcing of products, ongoing price management, budget control, and implementing efficient inventory management processes to maintain quality standards whilst working with compliance to maintain factory consistency.

The role will support the continued development of a more proactive, planning‑led supply chain function, with stronger focus on forecasting, inventory optimisation and supply chain visibility.

This will support organisational plans to strengthen demand planning, supply planning and strategic ownership of inventory across the business.

Main Duties*

Purchasing, Supply Planning and Supplier Management:

Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with company objectives, focusing on cost, quality, and supplier performance.

Lead purchasing and replenishment activities.

Ensure effective conversion of demand forecasts into supply plans.

Manage purchase order governance and supplier commitments.

Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure favourable terms, consistent lead times, and quality product standards.

Oversee inbound supply schedules and inventory flow.

Negotiate contracts and drive cost‑saving initiatives to support Rayware’s financial goals and operational efficiency.

Minimise supply disruption and stock risk.
