Procurement Business Partner

Liverpool City Council are seeking three experienced and strategically minded Procurement Business Partners to play a key role in shaping and delivering effective procurement across a diverse range of spend categories. This is a fantastic opportunity to influence high-value procurement activity, drive best practice, and deliver real outcomes for our residents, suppliers and communities.

About the Role

As a Procurement Business Partner in either the Health & Social Care, Corporate Services or City Development Procurement teams, you will lead and manage strategic procurement activity across the designated area of spend, providing expert commercial guidance and working closely with stakeholders at all levels. You will help build and deliver a forward-looking sourcing pipeline, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned to the council’s wider objectives.

This role blends strategic insight, relationship management, analytical capability and strong governance. You’ll be expected to challenge, influence and innovate – always with value for money, social value and compliance at the forefront.
