We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Junior Maintenance Engineer to support the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the terminal and associated equipment. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity, with the potential for a permanent position after an initial 3-month period. The successful candidate will work closely with the Lead Engineer, assisting in maintaining a safe, clean, and fully operational site at all times.
This role is ideally suited to someone with a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a solid understanding of general maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities Assist with planned and reactive maintenance across the terminal site Support the upkeep and repair of conveyors, elevators, packing equipment, and associated machinery Maintain high standards of housekeeping and site safety Work alongside subcontractors and operational teams as required Follow all Quality Assurance (QA) and Health & Safety procedures Report maintenance issues and assist with fault finding and basic repairs Ensure maintenance records and documentation are completed accurately Working Hours 40 hours per week Typical working hours are between 6:00am and 6:00pm, depending on operational requirements Additional hours will be required during vessel discharge operations to meet business needs Qualifications & Experience Essential Level 3 Engineering qualification (or equivalent) Good spoken and written English and numeracy skills Basic computer literacy, including: MS Word;
Excel;
